The Omega Series is a 'ready to go' Premium drum kit package using all 100% north american maple ply shells.
• 1.6mm ply shell thickness - Sleishman standard
• 6ply shells for both toms and floor toms for resonance and projection
• 6ply + 4ply re-inforcement rings for all bass drums
• 10ply shells for snare drums, that gives a full bodied snare sound along with a cracking rim shot
• 'dual angle' bearing edges are cut on all shells wich ensures a perfect circumference on every Sleishman shell
There are two size packages:
Rock : 10x8, 12x9, 16x14 FL, 22x18 BD, 14x6.5 SN
Fusion : 10x8, 12x9, 14x12 FL, 20x16 BD, 14x6.5 SN
Also there is a choice, shell set only(with tomholders) or a road ready pack including a snare stand, 2 tom/cymbal stands and a hi hat stand.
We've gone with the same tom sizes for both configurations as the depth really works very well in a wide variety of playing situations.
The snare size is the same for both packs, as we believe that the 6.5" depth achieves a great all round snare sound.
The Omega series is available in 5 attractive fade options:
Tobacco fade, ebony to natural fade, forest fade, cherry fade, ocean fade.
We've also incorporated our very own Sleishman die-cast tom fittings and bass drums claws in to the range,
giving the Omega Series a style of its own.
* another unique feature that comes standard on all Omega series floor toms are our patented 'reso springs' floor legs.
They literally suspend the floor tom in 'mid air' and help to create a massive floor tom sound.
